SECTION 01

1. General Information & Scope of Content

The information provided on Refinityisao (including all calculators, hardware specs, runtime estimations, wiring guidelines, and knowledge base articles) is published in good faith and for general educational and preliminary planning purposes only.

While our engineering team strives to keep documentation accurate, fully updated, and aligned with standard electrical engineering practices, Refinityisao makes no warranties or representations of any kind regarding the completeness, operational accuracy, reliability, or site-specific suitability of the technical figures presented.

SECTION 02

2. Engineering & Technical Advice Disclaimer

No materials, calculations, or articles published on this website constitute formal, binding electrical or structural engineering advice. Every residential electrical system features unique variables, including grounding resistance, phase distribution, line fluctuations, reactive load surges, and heating system interlocks.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: Prior to selecting, mounting, or connecting an uninterruptible power supply (UPS) for gas boilers, whole-home lithium battery banks, or automatic generator transfer switches (ATS), an on-site audit by a licensed electrician is mandatory.

Learn more about our dedicated deployment standards on our Installation Services and Backup Power Systems pages.

SECTION 03

3. Sizing, Runtime Curves & Electrical Loads

All technical specifications, autonomous runtime duration metrics, battery depth of discharge (DoD) figures, and inverter efficiency percentages shown on Refinityisao are based on standardized factory bench tests at nominal ambient temperatures (+20°C to +25°C) and pure resistive load profiles.

Temperature Variance

Low ambient temperatures in unheated boiler rooms can decrease effective battery storage capacity by 15% to 30%.

Inrush Current Surges

Circulation pumps, borehole submersible pumps, and compressor motors can demand start currents 3x to 7x higher than rated wattage.

Actual autonomy duration during real-world blackouts will fluctuate based on connected load cycles, auxiliary fan consumption, ambient room temperature, and battery life degradation.

SECTION 04

4. Installation & Electrical Safety Standards

Working with high-voltage alternating current (AC) lines, high-amperage direct current (DC) battery banks, pure sine wave inverters, and automatic generator starters involves severe risks of electrical shock, arc flash, battery thermal runaway, equipment destruction, and building fire.

Self-installation or uncertified wiring modifications executed without appropriate protective devices (such as RCDs, DC circuit breakers, class-T fuses, surge protection devices, and dedicated neutral grounding for gas boiler phase-sensitive electronics) are strictly discouraged and undertaken solely at the user's risk.

SECTION 05

5. Manufacturer Specifications & Third-Party Equipment

Product descriptions, firmware release notes, transfer speeds (<10ms), harmonic distortion levels (THD < 3%), and battery chemistry features (LiFePO4, AGM, GEL) reflect manufacturers' published data at the time of publication. Equipment manufacturers reserve the right to modify technical parameters, BMS protocols, or warranty conditions without prior notice.

Refinityisao does not guarantee uninterrupted hardware availability or perpetual backward software compatibility with legacy heating control boards or smart home automation bridges.

SECTION 06

6. Limitation of Liability

Under no circumstances shall Refinityisao, its engineers, directors, or contractors be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or exemplary damages arising from or in connection with the use of, or inability to use, information or hardware configurations described on this website.

This includes, but is not limited to: frozen heating circuits, boiler control board burnouts, battery degradation, loss of refrigerated inventory, data loss on non-protected consumer electronics, or grid backfeeding damages caused by improper DIY ATS installations.
